This means we must maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance and upkeep. In addition, our drivers must have safe driving records and adhere to strict drug and alcohol policies. Before booking a shuttle with someone else, ensure that they are registered with the state of New Mexico.

New Mexico PRC

NM PRC# 57931

New Mexico Public Regulation Commission registration assures you that our vehicles meet stringent safety and inspection standards. In addition drivers working for PRC registered companies must have safe records and be in good health. Any shuttle company operating in the state of New Mexico must be registered with the PRC.

UCR Registered

UCR stands for Unified Carrier Registration program. This federally-mandated system ensures compliance for commercial operations involved in interstate travel.

US Forest Service – Carson National Forest

Any company or individual profiting off of your public National Forest must be a registered outfitter / guide with the local land management agency. This ensures that part of your fee goes to support your public lands. Shuttle Taos LLC (formerly doing business as Turquoise Tours) has been the sole permitted operator providing shuttle service to the South Boundary Trail for the last 9 years.

US Forest Service – Rio Grand National Forest

Shuttle Taos LLC is the only operator permitted by the Rio Grande National Forest to service the Continental Divide Trail at Cumbres.

Bureau of Land Management

Shuttle Taos LLC is permitted by the Depart of Interior Bureau of Land Management to service all public roads and trails on BLM land in Norther New Mexico, including within the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument.
